This coming Monday, the 2021 BA Filmmaking class at Kingston School of Art are having a graduation screening at Genesis Cinema - line up attached. I will be showing my degree film, 'Figure 1'.
I had the joy of designing the poster for the event, drawing on public domain imagery in order to communicate the feeling our Graduating year shared of being filmmakers eclipsed by the pandemic (we are represented by the hidden sun). The eclipse symbolism is intended to evoke the idea that it's a temporary situation and that the light will shine again.
